Prof. Val Edwards-Jones PhD, CSci, FIBMS
A pioneer in the adoption of UV disinfection within the UK National Health Service, Prof. Edwards-Jones is widely recognised as a leading scientific authority in the field. Spanning decades, she has conducted extensive testing across a wide range of UV devices, with a particular focus on preventing infections from resistant pathogens found in the patient environment. Her groundbreaking real-world validation framework has been used repeatedly to compare device performance and forms the scientific foundation of the UV Insights platform
